Cosy house to rent in Sopocachi, La Paz, Bolivia

It was a pleasure to stay in this bright and welcoming little house (formerly an architect's studio). It is centrally located in an area of La Paz full of restaurants (two vegan ones just around the corner), organic stores and cultural life. Although the neighborhood's historical houses and trees are sadly disappearing due to unregulated urban development, this is an oasis reminding one of its former charm. Its little well-kept garden receives the midmorning sun and two large trees in the sidewalk are the refuge of many birds.

If you go to La Paz during the rainy season, the temperature inside can feel low if you are used to central heating (which is very rare there), yet there is a fireplace that works well and firewood is provided.
